The Yapiri font is not finished. It is a living thing — shaped by the sounds of Kokborok, drawn with care, and now being tested by real hands across real devices. Every time you type a word, print a page, or design something beautiful, you are walking on this script. And when something feels off, your observation becomes a gift.
This guide exists so your feedback reaches us clearly and quickly. Together, we will make the font stronger, more elegant, and more reliable for everyone.
Why Your Feedback Matters
A script created for a community must serve that community in every context — from a child’s first worksheet to a published book, from a phone screen to a large-format banner. No single designer can foresee every situation. That is why your eyes, your devices, and your daily use are essential.
Reporting an issue is not criticism. It is an act of care. It says: “I want this script to be excellent for all of us.”
“A font is only as good as the community that uses and refines it.”
— Yapiri Project principleWhat Kind of Feedback Helps Most
We welcome all observations, but the most useful reports include clear details. Here are the areas where your input makes the biggest difference:
- Glyph shape and proportions — Do any characters feel too narrow, too wide, or visually unbalanced?
- Kerning and spacing — Do letters sit too close or too far apart in certain combinations?
- Diacritic placement — How do the high tone mark and reduplication mark sit above or beside letters?
- Compatibility — Issues in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe software, browsers, or mobile apps.
- Rendering problems — Glyphs not appearing, boxes instead of characters, or poor quality on certain screens.
- Printing quality — How the font looks when printed on paper, especially at small sizes.
- Suggestions for improvement — New weights, stylistic alternates, or additional characters you would love to see.
Step-by-Step: How to Report an Issue
1. Reproduce the problem clearly
Before writing, try to recreate the issue on your device. Note exactly what you were doing when it appeared.
2. Take a screenshot or photo
A picture is worth a thousand words. Capture the exact moment the problem occurs — include surrounding text so we can see the context.
3. Gather basic information
- Your device type (Windows PC, Mac, Android phone, iPhone, tablet, etc.)
- Operating system and version
- The application or website where the issue appears (Word, Chrome, Canva, etc.)
- Font version you are using (check the file name or download date)
- A short description of what you expected vs. what actually happened
4. Write a short, clear description
For example:
“On Windows 11, in Microsoft Word 2021, the high tone mark sits too far to the right above the vowel. Expected it to sit centered. Screenshot attached. Using Yapiri Regular v1.0 downloaded on 28 May 2026.”
5. Send your report
Email us with your description and screenshot. We read every message personally.
Where to Send Your Feedback

What Happens After You Submit
Every report is logged and reviewed. We test the issue on multiple devices and platforms. When a fix or improvement is ready, it is released in a new font version and announced on our channels and the website.
You will usually receive a personal reply thanking you and letting you know the status. Your name will never be shared publicly without your permission — though we are always happy to credit contributors in release notes if you wish.
Together We Make It Stronger
Yapiri was created for the Tiprasa people. It will only reach its full beauty and usefulness when many eyes watch over it and many voices help shape it. Reporting an error, suggesting a refinement, or simply saying “this feels right here” — all of it is valuable.
Thank you for caring enough to notice. Thank you for taking the time to tell us. Every message you send is another careful footprint on the path we are walking together.
